Staten Island, NY — In a significant community outreach initiative, the Staten Island FerryHawks, in collaboration with Northwell Health’s Staten Island University Hospital (SIUH), will host a Pediatric Cancer Awareness Night on Saturday, September 6, at Staten Island University Hospital Community Park in St. George. This event aims to unite the local community in support of children and families impacted by pediatric cancer.

The Pediatric Cancer Awareness Night will not only promote awareness but also provide tangible support to those in need. For every ticket sold, a donation of will be directed to the Brian Halpin Pediatric Cancer Center at SIUH. This contribution will aid in the provision of life-saving treatment and essential resources to local pediatric patients fighting cancer, emphasizing the hospital’s commitment to enhancing care for vulnerable children.

The evening promises an electrifying atmosphere featuring a competitive game, which will culminate in the final fireworks show of the season. Attendees will witness an engaging match while showing support for a critical cause. In a special highlight of the night, children from the Brian Halpin Pediatric Cancer Center will be actively involved, participating in unique on-field activities designed to celebrate their strength and resilience, making them the evening’s focal point.
